POSITION OVERVIEW
A reputable logistics and supply chain company in Singapore is seeking responsible, reliable, and motivated individuals to join its expanding operations as Warehouse Assistants / Material Handlers.
This position provides an opportunity to develop practical experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and supply chain processes. On-the-job training will be provided to successful candidates.
The successful candidate will support the efficient handling and movement of materials throughout the warehouse, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, inventory control, and dispatch activities.
Accuracy, productivity, workplace safety, and compliance with established procedures are essential requirements of this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving and Inspection
– Receive incoming materials, products, and inventory from suppliers and transport providers.
– Verify deliveries against purchase orders, packing lists, invoices, and shipping documents.
– Inspect incoming goods for quantity, quality, and condition.
– Report damaged, missing, or non-conforming items promptly.
– Maintain accurate receiving records according to company procedures.
Inventory Storage and Organization
– Store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
– Ensure products are properly labelled and systematically organized.
– Maintain accurate stock identification for efficient retrieval.
– Support effective utilization of warehouse storage capacity.
– Maintain warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
Picking, Packing and Distribution
– Pick materials according to customer orders and production requirements.
– Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.
– Prepare outgoing shipments according to company standards.
– Ensure shipment labels and documentation are accurate and complete.
– Coordinate with logistics personnel to support timely dispatch.
Material Handling
– Safely move materials throughout the warehouse.
– Assist with loading and unloading trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
– Operate pallet jacks and other authorized material-handling equipment when required.
– Wrap, crate, and secure products for transportation.
– Support efficient warehouse workflow and daily productivity.
Inventory Control
– Record inventory transactions using warehouse management systems.
– Conduct routine stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
– Assist with periodic inventory audits.
– Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
– Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
Warehouse Operations
– Support daily warehouse activities and operational requirements.
– Work closely with supervisors, logistics personnel, and other departments.
– Participate in operational improvement initiatives.
– Assist with warehouse-related projects when required.
– Adapt to changing operational requirements.
Safety and Compliance
– Comply with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
– Follow established warehouse procedures and operating standards.
– Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workplace.
– Attend required safety briefings and training sessions.
– Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or hazards immediately.
– Promote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
– Open to male and female applicants.

– Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
– Able to safely lift, carry, and handle materials.
– Basic computer literacy is preferred.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.

– Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
– Able to work independently and as part of a team.
– Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations is an advantage.
– Forklift or warehouse equipment experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
