Royal Pets HK is expanding its team and seeking caring, responsible, patient, and animal-loving individuals to join its professional pet care team.
The team provides daily care and support for dogs, including dogs preparing for exhibitions, competitions, and professional dog shows.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
1. Dog Show Sitter
Responsible for the daily care and supervision of dogs participating in shows and competitions. Duties include feeding, exercise, grooming support, transportation assistance, routine monitoring, and ensuring dogs remain safe, clean, comfortable, and properly prepared for scheduled activities.
2. Pet Care Assistant
Assist with daily operations at the pet care facility, including dog care, cleaning, organizing pet areas, preparing supplies, and supporting customer service activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Provide attentive daily care for dogs.
– Prepare food and fresh drinking water according to feeding schedules.
– Monitor dogs’ behavior, activity, mood, and daily routines.
– Provide exercise, walks, companionship, and basic care.
– Assist with preparation for dog shows, exhibitions, and competitions.
– Support basic grooming and cleanliness before scheduled events.
– Keep dogs clean, comfortable, and properly presented.
– Assist with transportation and safe handling of dogs when required.
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kennels, activity areas, and workspaces.
– Clean pet supplies, resting areas, equipment, and facilities.
– Follow individual care instructions and special requirements.
– Record dogs’ daily conditions and activities.
– Report unusual health or behavioral conditions to supervisors.
– Work closely with the team to maintain safe and professional dog care.
– Provide professional and friendly service to dog owners.
REQUIREMENTS
– Genuine interest in dogs and animal care.
– Responsible, patient, attentive, and caring attitude.
– Comfortable handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities.
– Physically fit and able to perform daily pet-care activities.
– Good communication and teamwork skills.
– Willing to work flexible hours when required, particularly around show schedules.
– Able to follow professional pet-care and hygiene procedures.
– Willing to learn dog handling, grooming, and show-support skills.
– Previous experience in dog care, grooming, veterinary assistance, kennels, or dog shows is an advantage.
– Candidates without experience may also be considered if they demonstrate genuine interest and responsibility.
