CABIN CLEANER – AIRPORT SINGAPORE
FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Airport Singapore, is seeking responsible, reliable, and physically fit individuals to join its aviation support operations as Cabin Cleaners.
This position provides an opportunity to work in a professional aviation environment while gaining practical experience in aircraft cleaning, hygiene, safety, and operational procedures.
POSITION INFORMATION
Position: Cabin Cleaner
Work Location: Airport Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: 5-Day Work Week
Employees may be assigned to day, evening, night, weekend, or public holiday shifts according to flight schedules and operational requirements. Shift assignments are determined by the employer based on business needs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Cabin Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of aircraft cabins before passenger boarding and flight departure.
The position plays an important role in aircraft turnaround operations by helping ensure that passengers and flight crew enter a clean, hygienic, safe, and comfortable cabin environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Aircraft Cabin Cleaning
– Clean passenger seats, tray tables, armrests, seat pockets, window panels, and other cabin surfaces.
– Vacuum carpets, aisles, flooring, and stairways where applicable.
– Remove dust, stains, debris, and waste from cabin areas.
– Sanitize high-touch surfaces using approved cleaning products.
– Clean overhead storage compartments and designated cabin areas.
– Conduct final cleanliness checks before passenger boarding.
2. Lavatory and Galley Cleaning
– Clean and disinfect aircraft lavatories.
– Replenish hygiene and sanitation supplies when required.
– Clean aircraft galleys and designated food preparation areas.
– Handle and dispose of waste according to applicable safety procedures.
– Maintain appropriate hygiene standards throughout service areas.
3. Aircraft Cabin Preparation
– Ensure aircraft cabins meet required cleanliness and presentation standards.
– Maintain a neat and professional cabin environment.
– Complete assigned cleaning duties within aircraft turnaround schedules.
– Support efficient aircraft preparation before passenger boarding.
4. Safety and Compliance
Employees are required to:
– Follow airport security regulations and company operating procedures.
– Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
– Handle approved cleaning chemicals and materials according to safety procedures.
– Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
– Report damaged equipment, hazards, and operational concerns to supervisors.
– Comply with workplace safety, aviation hygiene, and operational requirements.
5. Teamwork and Professional Conduct
– Work effectively with supervisors and team members.
– Complete assigned duties within operational timelines.
– Maintain clear and professional communication.
– Follow instructions and established work procedures.
– Demonstrate punctuality, discipline, reliability, and professionalism in airport operational areas.
SALARY AND COMPENSATION
Monthly Salary: SGD 2,600 – SGD 2,900
Actual compensation may vary depending on work assignments, shift schedules, overtime, allowances, incentives, and applicable company policies.
