SALARY
HK$19,000 – HK$35,000 per month
Actual salary may vary depending on experience, qualifications, working hours, and job responsibilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
– Provide daily care and assistance for cats, dogs, and other animals receiving veterinary treatment
– Monitor animals and report changes in their condition to the veterinary team
– Assist veterinarians and veterinary nurses during examinations and basic treatments
– Support feeding, cleaning, bathing, and other routine animal-care activities
– Handle and safely transport animals within the clinic or hospital
– Prepare examination rooms, treatment areas, equipment, and supplies
– Assist with preparation before and after medical procedures
– Support basic post-treatment and recovery care
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in animal wards and treatment areas
– Clean and disinfect cages, equipment, and examination areas
– Assist with basic animal-care records and follow veterinary instructions
– Provide professional assistance to pet owners and visitors
– Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and hygienic environment for animals
– Follow workplace safety, animal-handling, infection-control, and clinic procedures
REQUIREMENTS
– Genuine interest in cats, dogs, and other animals
– Caring, patient, responsible, and attentive
– Good communication and teamwork skills
– Physically fit and comfortable working with animals
– Able to follow instructions and veterinary procedures
– Previous experience in veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, pet shops, shelters, grooming centers, or related environments is an advantage
– Veterinary or animal-care qualifications are an advantage
– Candidates without previous experience may also be considered
– Willing to work full-time and rotating shifts
– Able to work weekends or public holidays when required
