COLD ROOM PICKER / PACKER – JURONG PORT, SINGAPORE

A reputable food logistics and distribution company located at Jurong Port, Singapore, is seeking reliable, responsible, and motivated individuals to join its warehouse operations team as Cold Room Picker / Packer.
This position offers an opportunity to establish a stable career within Singapore’s food logistics and cold chain industry. The company is involved in the storage, handling, and distribution of frozen, chilled, dairy, and fresh food products for supermarkets, restaurants, retailers, and food service businesses across Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, inspecting, and preparing customer orders while complying with established food safety, hygiene, and cold chain procedures.

POSITION DETAILS
Position: Cold Room Picker / Packer
Industry: Food Logistics & Cold Chain Distribution
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Jurong Port, West Region, Singapore
Monthly Salary: SGD 2,000 – SGD 2,500
Working Schedule: 6 Days per Week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Overtime: May be available depending on operational requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Picking
– Pick products accurately according to customer orders.
– Locate and retrieve items efficiently from designated storage areas.
– Verify product codes, quantities, and batch information.
– Ensure orders are completed accurately and within required timelines.
– Meet daily productivity and operational standards.
Packing Operations
– Pack frozen, chilled, dairy, and fresh food products according to company procedures.
– Ensure products are properly secured for transportation.
– Label and prepare completed orders for dispatch.
– Maintain product quality throughout the packing process.
Cold Chain & Food Safety
– Follow established cold chain handling procedures.
– Maintain appropriate product temperatures during handling.
– Handle frozen and chilled products carefully.
– Use required personal protective equipment.
– Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.
Quality Control
– Inspect products for damage, defects, or contamination.
– Check expiry dates and product condition.
– Report damaged or unsuitable products to the relevant supervisor.
– Maintain a clean and hygienic work area.
Inventory Support
– Organize products within designated storage locations.
– Replenish picking areas when required.
– Perform stock rotation according to FIFO procedures.
– Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
– Record inventory movements where required.
General Warehouse Duties
– Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace.
– Assist with loading and unloading goods.
– Replenish packing materials and warehouse supplies.
– Follow workplace health and safety requirements.
– Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by supervisors.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and a strong commitment to maintaining operational standards.
Candidates should:
– Be comfortable working in cold-room and temperature-controlled environments.
– Be physically fit and capable of lifting approximately 10–25 kg.
– Be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual handling activities throughout the workday.
– Have good physical stamina.
– Be punctual, dependable, and responsible.
– Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
– Demonstrate good attention to detail and accuracy.
– Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
– Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
– Maintain productivity while meeting quality and safety standards.
Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, food manufacturing, or cold storage will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
