POSITION DETAILS
Position: Store Assistant / Pet Shop Staff / Cat Care Assistant
Location: Hong Kong
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: HK$16,000–HK$20,000 per month
Working Hours: Approximately 8–10 hours per day
Working Schedule: 6 days per week

JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will assist with daily operations at a pet shop specializing in cat food, pet supplies, cat accessories, and cat care products.
You will work directly with customers while also helping maintain the health, comfort, cleanliness, and safety of cats in the store.
Main Responsibilities
– Welcome customers and provide friendly customer service.
– Assist customers in selecting cat food and pet products.
– Explain basic product information, prices, and promotions.
– Arrange and display cat food and pet supplies neatly.
– Check product stock and report low-stock items.
– Receive, check, label, and organize incoming merchandise.
– Maintain clean and attractive product displays.
– Operate the cashier and process customer payments accurately.
– Prepare shopping bags and assist customers with their purchases.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
– Clean and maintain cat cages, enclosures, and designated cat areas.
– Provide food and fresh water to cats according to store procedures.
– Monitor the general condition and behavior of cats in the store.
– Assist with basic daily cat care and hygiene.
– Keep food bowls, litter areas, and cat equipment clean.
– Help organize cat toys, beds, cages, carriers, and accessories.
– Follow store safety, hygiene, and animal-care procedures.
– Assist colleagues with other reasonable daily store duties.

The store may carry a wide range of cat-related products, including:
– Dry cat food
– Wet cat food
– Cat treats and snacks
– Cat milk and nutritional products

SALARY & BENEFITS
Basic Salary: HK$16,000–HK$20,000 per month

JOB REQUIREMENTS
We welcome applicants who are genuinely interested in working with cats and pet-related products.
– Male or female applicants are welcome.
– Approximately 18–50 years old.
– Responsible, honest, punctual, and hardworking.
– Friendly and polite when dealing with customers.
– Comfortable working around cats and other pet-related products.
– Willing to perform cleaning and basic animal-care duties.
– Physically fit enough to stand and move around during working hours.
– Able to work independently and as part of a team.
– Basic communication skills are preferred.
– Previous retail or pet shop experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
– Candidates without previous experience may apply.
– Training will be provided to suitable candidates.
