MUSEUM CLEANER / MUSEUM CLEANING STAFF

JOB DETAILS

 

Position: Museum Cleaner / Museum Cleaning Staff

Location: Museums and cultural facilities in Hong Kong

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: HK$21,000–28,000 per month

Working Schedule: Shift-based

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

– Clean exhibition halls, galleries, corridors, entrances, and public areas.

– Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain different types of flooring.

– Clean restrooms, washrooms, sinks, mirrors, and hygiene facilities.

– Clean glass doors, windows, furniture, and other designated surfaces.

– Collect and dispose of rubbish according to workplace procedures.

– Maintain staff rooms, service areas, storage areas, and other assigned spaces.

– Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.

– Operate cleaning equipment and materials safely.

– Follow cleaning schedules and instructions from supervisors.

– Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, spills, and maintenance issues.

– Assist with additional cleaning and housekeeping duties when required.

– Maintain professional behavior around visitors, staff, and contractors.

– Follow workplace health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
