Kwai Tsing Container Port is one of the major container-handling areas in Hong Kong, supporting a wide range of cargo, logistics and terminal operations.
We are currently opening opportunities for candidates interested in developing a career in the port, logistics, cargo handling and terminal operations sector.
Both experienced candidates and applicants with limited experience may be considered for selected positions, subject to the requirements of each role.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
1. CONTAINER TERMINAL WORKER
Estimated Salary: HK$15,000–HK$20,000 per month
Job Responsibilities:
– Assist with daily container terminal activities
– Support container yard operations
– Assist with cargo handling and movement
– Perform general terminal duties as assigned
– Assist operational teams with loading and unloading activities
– Maintain cleanliness and order in designated work areas
– Follow workplace safety regulations and operational procedures
– Report unsafe conditions or operational issues to supervisors
Requirements:
– Minimum age 18
– Physically fit and able to perform manual duties
– Responsible and disciplined
– Able to work in an outdoor and busy port environment
– Willing to work shifts
– Previous logistics or warehouse experience is an advantage

2. PORT / TERMINAL OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Estimated Salary: HK$17,000–HK$23,000 per month
Job Responsibilities:
– Assist supervisors with daily terminal operations
– Monitor container movements and operational activities
– Assist in coordinating terminal work schedules
– Prepare basic operational records and reports
– Communicate with operations and logistics teams
– Support administrative tasks related to terminal operations
– Follow established safety and operational procedures
– Report operational problems to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements:
– Good communication and teamwork skills
– Basic computer skills may be required
– Able to work under pressure
– Willing to work rotating shifts
– Previous port, logistics or operations experience is an advantage

3. YARD OPERATIONS WORKER
Estimated Salary: HK$16,000–HK$21,000 per month
Job Responsibilities:
– Assist with daily container yard activities
– Support container identification and checking
– Assist with loading and unloading operations
– Help maintain organized container yard operations
– Coordinate with other operational workers
– Follow instructions from supervisors
– Observe safety procedures while working around heavy equipment
– Perform other duties related to yard operations
Requirements:
– Physically fit and able to work outdoors
– Comfortable working around machinery and vehicles
– Able to follow safety instructions
– Reliable and responsible
– Previous yard, warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage

4. LOGISTICS / CARGO ASSISTANT
Estimated Salary: HK$17,000–HK$24,000 per month
Job Responsibilities:
– Assist with cargo and shipment documentation
– Support daily logistics coordination
– Maintain basic operational records
– Perform data entry and document checking
– Coordinate with cargo and terminal teams
– Assist in tracking shipments and cargo movements
– Communicate with relevant operational departments
– Ensure documents and records are properly maintained
Requirements:
– Basic computer and administrative skills
– Good attention to detail
– Able to communicate effectively with team members

– Previous logistics, warehouse or cargo experience is an advantage

5. EQUIPMENT / MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Job Responsibilities:
– Assist technicians and maintenance teams
– Support routine equipment inspections
– Assist with basic maintenance activities
– Report equipment problems and abnormalities
– Help maintain equipment records
– Follow technical instructions and safety procedures
– Assist with maintenance preparation and work-area organization
Requirements:
– Physically fit and safety-conscious
– Willing to work around industrial equipment
– Technical or maintenance experience is an advantage

6. CRANE / HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Job Responsibilities:
– Operate port and terminal equipment
– Assist with container handling operations

– Follow strict safety procedures
– Communicate with ground and operations teams
– Report equipment faults or operational issues
– Maintain safe working practices at all times
Requirements:
– Relevant operating licence or certification may be required
– Previous heavy equipment or crane operating experience

– Physically and mentally fit for operational duties
