CLEANER – MUSEUM ENVIRONMENT
Location: Rochor / Bugis, Central Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Monthly Salary: SGD 1,900–2,400
Work Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Rest Days: Friday & Saturday
POSITION OVERVIEW
An established museum located in the Rochor/Bugis area of Central Singapore is seeking a reliable, responsible, and hardworking Cleaner to support its daily operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and presentation throughout the museum. This role is suitable for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for visitors, employees, and guests.
WORKING HOURS
– Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
– Sunday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
– Friday & Saturday: Rest Days
This position offers a stable five-day work week with two fixed rest days each week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors, corridors, and walkways.
– Clean and maintain furniture, display cabinets, exhibition areas, and other surfaces.
– Clean glass panels, mirrors, doors, railings, and frequently touched areas.
– Maintain cleanliness throughout galleries, exhibition halls, offices, and public areas.
– Clean and sanitize washrooms in accordance with required hygiene standards.
– Collect, separate, and dispose of waste according to established procedures.
– Replenish soap, tissue, hand sanitizer, and other necessary supplies.
– Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow workplace safety procedures.
– Report maintenance issues, damages, or repair requirements to the supervisor.
– Complete assigned cleaning duties according to the daily work schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
– Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.
– Training will be provided to suitable candidates.
– Physically fit and capable of performing routine cleaning duties.
– Responsible, punctual, and dependable.
– Good personal hygiene and attention to detail.
– Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
– Comfortable working in a professional public environment.
