JOB DESCRIPTION
The Cleaner / Cleaning Staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, order, and overall appearance throughout designated areas of the shopping mall.
The successful candidate will help ensure that public areas remain clean, comfortable, and safe for customers, visitors, employees, and tenants.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Clean and maintain assigned public areas within Harbour City.
– Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors according to company standards.
– Clean toilets, corridors, stairways, entrances, common areas, and other designated facilities.
– Remove rubbish and dispose of waste according to established procedures.
– Keep cleaning areas organized, tidy, and free from unnecessary obstacles.
– Clean high-traffic areas regularly to maintain proper hygiene standards.
– Respond to cleaning requirements in public areas when necessary.
– Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
– Use cleaning equipment and cleaning products properly and safely.
– Follow workplace health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
– Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, spills, or facility issues to the supervisor.
– Assist with cleaning tasks during busy periods, special events, or increased customer traffic.
– Maintain a professional appearance and follow company uniform requirements.
– Complete daily cleaning duties according to the assigned schedule and work area.
– Cooperate with supervisors and other cleaning team members.
– Follow all company policies, workplace regulations, and operational instructions.
– Perform other reasonable cleaning-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
– Must meet the applicable employment age requirements in Hong Kong.
– Physically fit and able to perform routine cleaning duties.
– Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning activities during working hours.
– Willing to work rotating shifts or roster schedules.
– Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.
– Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and reliable.
– Able to follow instructions from supervisors and management.
– Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
– Good personal hygiene and a professional attitude are expected.
– Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but is not compulsory.
– Candidates without previous experience may be considered for training.
