OFFICIAL JOB VACANCY – CHILDCARE CLEANER | SINGAPORE
Full-Time Position | Up to SGD 1,900 per Month + Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)
POSITION OVERVIEW
A well-established childcare centre in the East Region of Singapore is seeking a responsible, reliable, and hardworking Childcare Cleaner to join its team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for children, teachers, staff, and visitors. Previous cleaning or childcare experience is not mandatory, as training will be provided to suitable candidates.
POSITION DETAILS
– Position: Childcare Cleaner
– Location: East Region, Singapore
– Employment Type: Full-Time
– Working Days: Monday to Friday
– Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
– Monthly Salary: SGD 1,700 – SGD 1,900
– Additional Benefit: Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)
– Work Environment: Childcare Centre / Preschool
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across classrooms, offices, activity rooms, corridors, washrooms, and common areas.
– Sweep, vacuum, mop, disinfect, and sanitize floors, furniture, and frequently touched surfaces.
– Clean tables, chairs, shelves, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures.
– Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
– Replenish essential cleaning and hygiene supplies.
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in pantry, food preparation, and dining areas.
– Assist with basic food and beverage preparation when required.
– Prepare and organize activity and meal areas before and after use.
– Support teachers and childcare staff with basic housekeeping and operational duties.
– Follow workplace safety, sanitation, hygiene, and infection-control procedures.
– Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor as required.
REQUIREMENTS
– Responsible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
– Able to work independently and follow established procedures.
– Comfortable working in a childcare or preschool environment.
– Physically fit and capable of performing daily cleaning duties.
– Good personal hygiene and attention to detail.
– Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
– Able to communicate and work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
– Previous cleaning or childcare experience is an advantage but not required.
