ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
A reputable aviation security organisation in Singapore is seeking responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented individuals to join its airport security operations team as Airport Transit Screening Officers.
The successful candidates will play an important role in maintaining the safety and security of passengers, airport personnel, aircraft, and airport facilities while supporting efficient airport operations.
No previous aviation security experience is required. Successful applicants will receive fully sponsored WSQ-certified aviation security training prior to deployment, providing a structured pathway into Singapore’s aviation security industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Security Screening
– Conduct passenger security screening in accordance with established aviation security regulations and procedures.
– Screen cabin baggage, personal belongings, and items entering designated restricted areas.
– Operate X-ray scanners and other approved security screening equipment.
– Identify prohibited, restricted, or suspicious items and take appropriate action according to established procedures.
– Ensure all screening activities comply with applicable aviation security standards.
Passenger Assistance
– Guide passengers professionally through the security screening process.
– Assist passengers in preparing baggage and personal belongings for inspection.
– Respond to passenger enquiries courteously and professionally.
– Maintain an orderly and efficient passenger flow without compromising security requirements.
– Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service to international travellers.
Security Compliance
– Adhere strictly to aviation security regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
– Maintain a high level of alertness and vigilance throughout assigned duties.
– Identify and report suspicious activities or security concerns promptly.
– Support emergency response procedures and incident reporting when required.
– Maintain professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and discipline at all times.
Operational Support
– Work closely with airport authorities, airline personnel, security supervisors, and other operational teams.
– Monitor designated security areas and maintain compliance with operational requirements.
– Maintain operational readiness throughout each assigned shift.
– Complete security documentation, records, and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

WORK SCHEDULE
Airport security operations operate on a 24-hour rotating shift system.
Depending on operational requirements, work schedules may include:
– 4 Days Work / 2 Days Off
– 5 Days Work / 1 Day Off
Applicants must be prepared to work:
– Morning, afternoon, and night shifts
– Weekends and public holidays
– Additional operational hours when required
