We are currently recruiting candidates for Cargo Handler / Ramp Services positions at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), one of Hong Kong’s major aviation and air cargo hubs.

 

This is a full-time airport cargo and logistics position involving the handling, movement, loading, unloading, and preparation of air cargo for airport operations.

 

POSITION INFORMATION

 

Position: Cargo Handler / Ramp Services

Workplace: Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)

Location: Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong

Industry: Aviation / Airport Cargo / Logistics

Employment: Full-Time

Working Schedule: Rotating Shifts

Salary: HK$19,538 – HK$25,700 per month

Overtime: Available according to operational requirements

 

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Load and unload air cargo from aircraft, vehicles, pallets, and containers

• Handle and move cargo safely within designated airport areas

• Prepare, arrange, and organize cargo for transportation

• Handle cargo pallets, containers, and other cargo equipment

• Assist with ramp-side cargo handling and ground operations

• Transport cargo between designated operational areas

• Check cargo positioning and ensure proper handling procedures are followed

• Follow HKIA workplace safety, security, and operational procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment

• Coordinate with team members during loading and unloading operations

• Perform additional cargo handling duties according to operational requirements

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

 

The position is based at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) in Chek Lap Kok.

 

Cargo operations at HKIA operate according to flight schedules and airport operational requirements. Employees may be required to work rotating shifts, including early morning, evening, overnight, weekends, and public holidays.

 

Candidates should therefore be comfortable working flexible schedules and in a fast-paced airport environment.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

• Responsible, disciplined, and physically fit

• Able to perform manual cargo handling and lifting duties

• Able to work rotating shifts

• Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required

• Able to follow safety and security instructions

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Able to work efficiently in a busy operational environment

• Previous experience in airport cargo, warehouse, logistics, ramp services, or related industries is an advantage

• Training may be provided depending on the position and candidate qualifications
