AEROPLANE PART CLEANER – CHANGI AIRPORT, SINGAPORE
Position Overview
A professional opportunity is available for a Aeroplane Part Cleaner to join an aircraft support services team at Changi Airport, Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and restoring aircraft interior components while ensuring compliance with established safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to suitable candidates.
Employment Details

– Work Schedule: 5 Days per Week
– Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
– Monthly Salary: SGD 2,420
– Daily Rate: SGD 110
Key Responsibilities
– Clean and maintain aircraft interior components, fixtures, fittings, and cabin equipment.
– Clean, restore, and maintain leather and fabric aircraft seats.
– Apply appropriate leather conditioning treatments to maintain seat quality and appearance.
– Carry out minor repairs to aircraft seats and interior fittings when required.
– Perform leather touch-up work, including the removal of stains, ink marks, and surface imperfections.
– Clean, disinfect, and sanitize aircraft lavatories in accordance with required hygiene standards.
– Perform carpet shampooing, deep cleaning, and stain-removal procedures.
– Operate cleaning equipment, machinery, chemicals, and maintenance tools safely and correctly.
– Follow all workplace safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and company guidelines.
– Ensure cleaning materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment are properly handled and stored.
– Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
– Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete daily operational requirements efficiently.
– Identify and report defects, damages, or maintenance issues discovered during cleaning activities.
– Perform other duties reasonably assigned by supervisors or management.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
– Physically fit and capable of performing manual and repetitive duties.
– Comfortable working in warm, humid, and occasionally confined environments.
– Able to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods during working hours.
– Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow instructions accurately.
– Good attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
– Able to work independently when required.
– Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining good attendance.
– Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, aircraft support, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
– Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices is preferred.
