CARE HOME ATTENDANT / CARE WORKER

 

We are currently seeking responsible, caring and dedicated candidates to join care facilities in Hong Kong. This position is suitable for individuals who are interested in providing daily assistance and support to elderly residents in a professional care environment.

 

POSITION DETAILS

 

Location: Hong Kong – Kowloon / Hong Kong Island / New Territories

Position: Care Home Attendant / Care Worker

Employment Type: Full-Time / Shift-Based

Salary: HK$17,500 – HK$23,500+ per month

Working Hours: Approximately 8–10 hours per day

Working Days: 5–6 days per week

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts according to operational requirements

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Assist elderly residents with daily living activities and basic personal needs

• Provide assistance with eating, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene

• Support residents with walking, mobility and other physical activities

• Accompany and assist residents during recreational and daily activities

• Monitor residents’ basic needs and provide appropriate assistance

• Maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment within the care facility

• Assist with basic housekeeping duties related to residents’ care areas

• Communicate respectfully and professionally with residents and colleagues

• Report any unusual conditions or concerns regarding residents to supervisors or nursing staff

• Provide support to nurses, caregivers and medical staff when required

• Follow workplace safety procedures and care facility guidelines

• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy and dignity of all residents

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

• Open to male and female applicants

• Responsible, patient, caring and trustworthy personality

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Physically fit and able to assist elderly residents with daily activities

• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays when required

• Previous experience in a care home, elderly care facility or related field is an advantage

• Candidates with elderly care, healthcare or caregiving training are preferred

• Relevant certificates or qualifications will be considered an advantage

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Fresh graduates or candidates without extensive experience may also be considered, depending on the employer’s requirements

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

• Full-time employment

• Shift-based working schedule

• Approximately 8–10 working hours per day

• 5–6 working days per week

• Rest days according to the employer’s schedule

• Candidates must be prepared to work according to the operational needs of the care facility
