BAGGAGE HANDLER – HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (HKIA)

POSITION DETAILS
Position: Baggage Handler

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: HK$18,000–HK$23,000 per month
Shift: Day Shift / Night Shift
Working Schedule: Shift-based schedule according to operational requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Handle passenger baggage safely and efficiently during aircraft arrival and departure operations.
– Load and unload baggage from aircraft, baggage carts, containers, and ground service vehicles.
– Sort and organize baggage according to flight numbers, destinations, and operational requirements.
– Transport baggage between aircraft, baggage sorting areas, terminals, and designated airport facilities.
– Assist with the movement and positioning of baggage equipment used during ground operations.
– Follow established baggage handling procedures and airport operational standards.
– Support ground handling teams in maintaining smooth and timely aircraft turnaround operations.
– Identify and report damaged, misplaced, delayed, or irregular baggage according to company procedures.
– Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working area.
– Follow airport security requirements, occupational safety standards, and operational regulations.
– Coordinate effectively with airline staff, ground handling personnel, supervisors, and other airport teams.
– Perform other operational duties assigned by supervisors in accordance with company procedures.
