JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking reliable, responsible, and physically fit individuals to join the airport ground operations team as Trolley Assistants.
The successful candidates will be responsible for collecting, transporting, organizing, and redistributing baggage trolleys throughout passenger areas at Hong Kong International Airport.
This position involves regular walking, standing, pushing and maneuvering baggage trolleys, and working in a fast-paced airport environment. Comprehensive training will be provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Collect baggage trolleys from arrival halls, departure halls, baggage claim areas, terminal entrances, transport interchanges, and car parks.
– Transport and arrange trolleys safely at designated locations.
– Ensure trolley stations remain adequately supplied.
– Replenish trolley stations during peak passenger periods.
– Inspect trolleys for damage or safety concerns.
– Report defective equipment to supervisors.
– Maintain clean and organized trolley collection areas.
– Follow airport operating procedures and workplace safety regulations.
– Support operations during weekends, public holidays, peak periods, and special events.
– Coordinate with supervisors and other airport service teams.
– Provide basic assistance or directions to passengers when required.
– Maintain professional conduct and service standards.
– Perform other operational duties within the scope of the position.
REQUIREMENTS
– No previous experience required.
– Fresh graduates and first-time job seekers are welcome to apply.
– Minimum basic education.
– Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
– Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
– Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
– Able to safely push and maneuver baggage trolleys.
– Willing to work day or night shifts.
– Available to work weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
– Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and dependable.
– Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Able to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
– Basic English communication skills preferred.
– Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage but not mandatory.
