POSITION OVERVIEW
A reputable hotel in the Somerset and Orchard Road area of Singapore is seeking responsible, reliable, and service-oriented individuals to join its professional Housekeeping Team as Public Area Cleaners.

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an advantage but is not mandatory. Candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply, with comprehensive on-the-job training provided.
POSITION DETAILS
Position: Public Area Cleaner
Location: Somerset / Orchard Road, Central Region, Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
SALARY & EARNINGS
– Basic Salary: SGD 2,080 per month
– Overtime: Available and payable according to company policy
– Good Attendance Incentive: SGD 100 per month
– Potential Gross Monthly Income: Up to SGD 3,000, depending on overtime and applicable incentives
WORKING SCHEDULE
Option 1
– 6 working days per week
– Working hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Option 2
– 5 working days per week
– Shift A: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
– Shift B: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Rest days and shift assignments will be arranged according to operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel’s public areas, including:
– Maintaining cleanliness across designated hotel public areas
– Cleaning lobbies, reception areas, corridors, elevators, staircases, and lift lobbies
– Cleaning and maintaining public restrooms
– Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors
– Dusting and cleaning furniture, fixtures, handrails, and decorative surfaces
– Cleaning glass doors, mirrors, windows, and display panels
– Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste in accordance with company procedures
– Replacing trash bags and maintaining waste collection areas
– Replenishing restroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, tissues, and hand towels
– Ensuring assigned areas remain clean and presentable throughout operating hours
– Responding promptly to urgent cleaning requirements
– Reporting maintenance issues, defects, and safety hazards to supervisors
– Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and appropriately
– Assisting with scheduled deep-cleaning activities
– Performing other housekeeping-related duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
– Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an advantage but not essential
– Applicants without prior experience are welcome to apply
– Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties
– Responsible, reliable, and punctual
– Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
– Good attention to detail
– Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team
– Good communication skills
– Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
